Pop Up: Maker Faire Tulsa
Have you been to the Maker Faire Tulsa? For the last 11 years, makers and STEM creatives have been showing off their creations and talents thanks to the free event sponsored by FAB LAB Tulsa.
This was my first time attending and vending this amazing show and tell. Tesla coils sang reconizable theme songs, flames melted and shaped glass, movie props and characters walked and rolled around, and cheers for hand made derby car races filled the space. It was so cool! I loved watching the 3D printers work their magic and seeing all the kids (and adults) roam around playing and enjoying what each booth had to share.
I brought my brand new Tulsa Flag Skyline piece. Digitally created, this multi layered piece brings Tulsa to life through reconizable landmarks and views nested inside our favorite flag design. Wait until you see what I was able to create once I ran it through my cricut cutter! Stay tuned on Instagram to see the reveal of the 3D paper version!
