July 2024 - Monthly Review

This month was hot! Portraits, while on hold until mid August, managed to come across my desk a couple times between travels and other BIG projects (more on that later). I did a house portrait and a champagne bottle in addition to the custom pieces for upcoming weddings. Hello pet illustrations and venue art!

In local news, Tulsa’s Route 66 has a new girl in town! Did you see my new Stella Atom drawing? It inspired me to continue with a few more for a mini series. These would be a fun coloring book or passport sticker map or collection of 100 illustrations for 100 years! Want to sponsor this endeavor for the Route 66 Centennial? Let me know!

Pink Creek Boutique in Tulsa had a website refresh which included their own custom Pink Creek Toile pattern. I love pattern design because it is like a puzzle to solve. When everything clicks just right, you know it’s done.

I received an amazing opportunity from my “drop everything and work on this project” quite literally while I was waiting in the airport for a trip. Luckily, it was an entirely digital project that I was able to work on in the sky and in the hotel. More on this project to come once it’s approved!

Spoonflower and Zazzle are hot this summer! I may have to add some more options and designs. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

I may have missed this spring’s OKGO Market, but I’m applying for some fall vendor opportunities. I’ll keep you posted on any new and upcoming events and opportunities to stop by and shop.
