Pop Up: OKGO Market
Alexa's Illustrations went to market!
For the very first time, prints and originals were available in person!
I guess I like to go big, because WOW, what an amazing event run by the amazing TulsaGo (a favorite one stop source for all things happening in Tulsa).
150 amazingly talented Oklahoma makers and small businesses showcased their goods at the expo square and I was honored to be a part of the showcase!
It was a multiple month endeavor getting ready for the show because I (the queen of DIY) digitized, printed, cut, signed, and stuffed all the prints. Over 250 pieces of inventory.
Plus, I built my own trifold display, complete with gold hardware and wood shelves. When people ask what I do and I say “I’m an artist,” no one would ever guess all the other pieces that go along with that!
The day was an amazing success! I met so many friendly people who loved art, talked about a whole bunch of new portraits and pieces, and overall just had a great time!
Thank you to everyone who came out to support local, whether a long time follower or a new (welcome!), plus those who gave a wave and said “beautiful work,” you all are the best and I create my art for you!
Special thanks to my husband, mom, and long time friend for helping with all the day of tasks. They really are my biggest cheerleaders and made the day extra special!
