Tulsa PAC Orbit Arts Festival 2023

The Tulsa Performing Arts Center is the king of arts in Tulsa! With numerous huge stages for performances and workshops, April 15, 2023, the TPAC filled every space inside and out with local talent! I had the coolest studio painting around the rotating performances and fellow artists. Loved meeting so many art lovers that came over to say hello. I started painting a huge Tulsa skyline view looking down Boston Avenue toward the BOK Tower. There were lots of buildings and windows to draw, which I love to illustrate. Buildings and shapes are so fun because I get to add all the amazing art deco details and then paint the dimensions and depth with shadows and highlights. It’s still a work in progress, so stay tuned on Instagram to see how it turns out!

As a fun collaborative art project, I brough a canvas and some dot markers and everyone that came by added a dot (or a few!) to my canvas. Under all the dots is a secret vinyl image stuck on there of the Tulsa skyline that I’ll remove once the canvas is all filled. Stay tuned on Instagram to watch the reveal of this fun project!
