April 2023 - Monthly Review

April is a wonderful month. The tulips are blooming and Tulsans enjoy the springtime outside. Events start filling your calendar and all those last minute preparations and details for summer soirees are under way.

Events where you could find me and/or my art include the inaugural (and super fun) ORBIT Arts Festival. It was so much fun and the paintings were so big that they have their own blog post here.

Did you snag some Alexa’s Illustrations print bundles at the Tulsa Signature Symphony or the Union Foundation auctions? Thank you for your bids and support of local Tulsa arts and education!

Wedding season is starting and I have all the art you will need for your event! I am working on a guide for Event Planners (including professionals, volunteers, and DIYers) on ways you can hire me to illustrate something perfect for your event. Spoiler alert, it’s not wildly expensive and I have a lot of pieces already painted that you can purchase a license to use. Incorporate a custom touch to your event while supporting your local Tulsa watercolor artist.

Speaking of Tulsa, want to paint your very own Tulsa skyline? Keep an eye on the Tulsa Country Club’s event page for a Tulsa Watercolor Class taught by Alexa’s Illustrations!

Another be on the lookout item is a wholesale page! I already have a robust line sheet, but ordering will be much easier once my faire shop is up and running!
