October 2022 - Monthly Review

Spooky season and transition to fall, what’s not to love? While I soaked in all the autumn colors (hello Talimena Drive) my clients and I were planning ahead for the rest of the year. A warm October day brought thoughts of Christmas and gift giving snowballing in our minds.

With that said, I have a lot of secret Christmas projects that I’m wrapping up and sending out to be carefully hidden until December 25th to be opened with the big OOooos and Aaahhhs that a custom portrait always earns. I accepted the largest number of portraits at a time to accommodate the Christmas rush. Let’s just say my desk looked like a neighborhood and a pet shop with all the paintings in the works!

Custom commissions close on November 4th this year, so really get ahead of the rush. If you miss it, don’t worry, there will be a couple goodies up my sleeve for Black Friday week and a Christmas Market in the works to get your hands on something hand made for your loved ones. And here’s a good place to add a plug for gift cards! You can always gift a custom portrait through a gift card so your recipient will receive the full experience and excitement from sketch to finished painting.

Keep your eye on the Holiday Shop to see all the cozy seasonal goods available!

Stay warm, safe, and cozy through the rest of the year.
