May 2024 - Monthly Review

May kicked off with a Tulsa People Magazine feature of my two Walmart Murals (Guthrie & Muskogee)

Graduation season is in full swing and what better way to celebrate the next chapter than through some fun? A tradition at Cascia Hall is to say goodbye to 12th grade (and those school uniforms) by painting their skirt to represent where the student is headed in the fall. Working on these senior skirts was a fun new kind of project.

Those last few projects for the upcoming wedding season trickled in to keep me busy. I can’t wait to see how my licensed venue art and custom painted champagne bottles are used this summer to add that special memorable detail to elevate all your celebrations.

Speaking of wedding season, I have been busy compiling more photos and examples of my work in use. If you have any to share from past art or licenses you’ve commissioned from me, I’d love to see it! It’s often the best and easiest way to make my day. As I work on gathering more, here’s a recent wedding to share with you that had two Alexa’s Illustrations components: Philbrook illustration envelope liner and 15 custom watercolor paintings as the seating chart!

This summer is lining up to be a busy one with some B2B projects, fall wedding prep, and the usual custom watercolor portraits. I hope you have a great summer, stay cool, and see you on the blog or IG soon!
