Discovery Lab Auction

The start of 2022 saw the opening of the coolest Children’s Museum in the area! Discovery Lab Tulsa moved to their new location just next door to the Gathering Place and opened in January. I was so excited to hear from the Discovery Lab about painting a piece of their new building for their upcoming Electric Lime Gala & Auction.

Not only did we want the painting to have the building but a tie in of the surrounding city. The Tulsa skyline makes an appearance and so do a couple Gathering Place icons. The crane slides, the towers of the playground, and the boathouse are all perfectly situated in the tree line.

The original was such a fun piece to paint. Can’t wait to see where this piece ends up! There are also 50 limited edition signed and numbered 5x7 prints available for purchase the day of the auction! Let me know if you snag one!
