NOUN Hotel is Open
It’s finally open!
We’ve been watching this space go from ground breaking to 4 stories over the past year and I can’t believe how gorgeous this boutique hotel has turned out.
Designed by GH2 Architects close to the University of Oklahoma campus, the NOUN Hotel features a supper club and over 90 rooms with Alexa’s Illustrations art!
Each room includes a geometric shadow pinned piece of small painted individual Oklahoma themed icons. How many you ask? I30 individual watercolor illustrations drawn, painted, and digitized to be ready for printing.
Below is a fun hyperlapse video I took of the digitizing process. After scanning all the painted pages, I opened trust Photoshop and got to work. Not actually this fast, unfortunately.
