May 2023 - Monthly Review
Just so typically May. My clients were prepping for summer weddings & celebrations and needing painted bottles of bubbly and bespoke watercolor icons. Lots of lovely painted surprises coming soon. For a first look, be sure to follow along on Instagram.
Speaking of Instagram, did you catch the coronation bottle I made? Last Christmas, I got a Cricut machine and have been struggling with using it. I have so many creative ideas that are more than iron ons and vinyl stickers and it has been a struggle getting it to cooperate. But this bottle was a turning point to create stencils for stunning crisp line and accurate paintings on bottles.
Otherwise, I ended the month out of studio for a nice cool break in the Rocky Mountains. Such a great way to kick off the summer.
Things to look forward to in June (besides the pool parties, cookouts, and summer fun), I’ll be teaching a painting class! Tulsa Country Club members and their guests will learn to paint a Tulsa skyline with watercolors. Plus, you get to take your supplies home to keep practicing your art at home. It will be a fun and relaxed environment looking out across the golf course at the skyline. Contact the Tulsa Country Club for more information. Get excited to learn from your local Tulsa watercolor artist!
