May 2022 Monthly Review
May is a month of celebrations. It’s filled to the brim with events and holidays. From Mother’s Day, Graduations, Teacher Appreciation Week, Anniversaries, Weddings, Birthdays, there’s always something to celebrate in May.
I am always so honored that you come to me with your ideas for things to paint for each and every type of celebration in your lives! This month was no exception.
New non-paper merch became available this month. I just kind of slid it in there to get it set up and you all definitely noticed! Scissor-tailed flycatcher pillows are the Oklahoman art deco lover necessity for your space.
A little event called the PGA 2022 Tournament came to Tulsa this year. While I painted some green and pristine pieces for the Southern Hills Country Club’s member appreciation party in June, I turned some of the components into more Giphy stickers that you all used each and every day of the tournament!
Bottles upon bottles (this may be your new favorite thing to order) were painted with all the custom details.
On the wedding front, I created another beautiful set of art in partnership with the Inviting Place for an upcoming wedding. When it comes to wedding venue art and custom crests, I always say Yes!
In the middle of all this, I did manage to take a little vacation to visit Boston for the first time. After delaying this trip for 2 years, it was so nice to explore a new city. I saw all the things, taking in the history, architecture, colors, and tastes (all the cannolis & lobster) and feel a little more energized from it. Well, this paragraph is giving me throwback vibes to my time as a travel blogger during my university years. Ah the adventures of a young twenty-something.
Hope you felt celebrated in May or enjoyed showering your loved ones this month. See you at the next update in June!
