January 2022 Review
Happy New Year!
2022 began with a bumpy start recovering from the holidays, getting organized to start the new year, and trying to stay healthy and indoors as much as possible.
By the second week, when I said, “OK world, I’m ready,” all the projects came flooding in!
I painted some lovely pieces of Philbrook in partnership with The Inviting Place for some upcoming spring weddings. The Philbrook gardens are one of the best places to see tulips in late March, early April. Plus, the gardens are beautiful year round with the gorgeous architecture of the buildings, structures, and garden art surrounding the perfectly manicured gardens.
A few pet portraits, a home portrait, and a painting of a jet plane (plus a few behind the scenes projects) kept me quite busy.
The end of January, I announced openings for Valentine’s Day bottle paintings and held a contest on Instagram to get a commission spot. I loved seeing all the comments on how you’d design your bottle and who you’d share it with. Stay tuned for February to see those bottles come to life!
