Happy 100th birthday Holland Hall!

For their big birthday bash, the annual auction went Dutch with Gezellig. A word without an English translation, it means a cozy and fun social gathering.

Since my family has close ties to Holland Hall, I couldn’t say no when asked to create a piece for the upcoming auction. The new Tandy Wellness and Dining Hall was the perfect building to paint for the occasion (knowing that we will most likely make our way through painting other buildings over the years).

The big windows, huge lawn, and cozy landscaping done in watercolor perfectly captures the gezellig theme!
