Holiday Commissions 2020 - Local Favorites

Not only do people love their homes, pets, and family, but they also love their businesses and favorite local spots that hold so many memories! Honored to be asked to paint these very special pieces.

Juniper Tulsa

An early downtown favorite and one of the many excellent restaurants in the Thompson Group, Juniper was fun to paint. I had already drawn in 2020 as part of my #iwanttogotothereTulsa set for Tulsa Restaurant Week 2020, so an excuse to draw again and paint as a commissioned Christmas present for the chief chef was an honor!

Dragon Moon Tea Co

This one was all about the details! I was tasked with reviving this tea house to its former glory on an 8x10 sheet of watercolor paper. We revived the sign, filled the flower beds, and showcased the fine teas and pastries inside the window. This piece brought back fond memories of all the celebrations and fun occasions that happened inside for the family of the recipient.
